After the TYPE-R’s success, many 370Z/Z34 owners requested a dual layout for a more aggressive rear view and sound. However, RSE and TOMEI held firm to their philosophy: lightweight means performance. At that time, a dual design would have compromised weight and efficiency, so the idea was shelved. Years later, with advances in titanium fabrication and layout optimization, the development team revisited the concept — this time aiming to create a dual system that combined refined aesthetics with uncompromised performance.
