A fuel pulsation damper (also referred to as an FPD) is a device used to regulate the oscillation of fuel caused by the injectors opening and closing. This pulsation creates a 'ripple' effect that disrupts adequate flow to the fuel injectors and result in loss of power across the RPM range. This damper uses an internal spring and diaphragm to absorb oscillations and smooth fuel rail pressure to maintain a consistent fuel flow to the injectors.

This Fuel Hose and Damper was added to all Q50/Q60's from 06/16+ production date. This fuel damper hose is a direct replacement for the hose already installed on your car, and superceeds the original part.
