Invidia Q300 G35 / G37 Sedan (V36) Cat-Back Exhaust - '07-'13

love this exhaust. Good quality and good fit. even with none resonated test pipes It's not a super loud exhaust system at all. it's like medium loud and doesn't have much volume. There is no rasp at all, no drone on highways. I think some headers with this system would get the volume I'm looking for. highly recommend.

only gave 4 stars vs the 5 due to how the resonator pipes didn't quite match up when mounting. I purchased these to replace my stock catback setup due to the flex pipes in the y section being utterly destroyed from how low the car was prior to my Z1 coilover install. When mounting the resonator pipes for the y section, the resonators actually lined up one on top of the other rather than side by side. This was actually tough to correct as there is no flex portion in this setup. For anyone with a similar issue I remedied this by loosely mounting up the resonators with the central "X" pipe and then forcing everything to match up just enough to start threading in all the hardware. Once a few bolts start clamping down everything lined up just right and forced everything in place with no leaks or gaps. everything after the resonators was really easy to put together and all the hangars matched up perfectly. As for actual sound and quality: This system solved a serious problem with how loud my 2009 G37 was in the cabin and the sound of the prior leak i had bouncing off the road. This system is actually A LOT quieter than I expected which to me is actually not bad at all. If you don't want your VQ to sound like the classic Z meet trumpet then this is perfect. It has a throaty sound but it's very subdued thanks to the muffler and resonator. I barely hear it even under WOT but it has enough of a presence so you still feel good while listening to the exhaust. A subdued sporty sound. welds are beautiful, build quality is great and I love how much more manageable the sound is. I no longer have to put my music at full blast to drown out the exhaust noises and I've already gotten compliments on the car not even a full day after install.

I'm not a big writer of reviews, but I feel this one is worth it. Also the other reviews helped in making my decision easier. I was looking for exhaust that wasn't too loud, fit well, and wasn't too expensive. This hit all three. My G37X sedan has no modifications and the OE cats. With this exhaust, there is a slight growl. Under throttle, I can barely hear the exhaust over the engine noise. The exhaust went together well (although I recommend putting it together before you install everything, I had the x pipe flipped). I do need to re-adjust it some, because I hear a knock when I hit certain bumps. The quality appears good too, but time will be the true test of that.

They sound good on the G35 that I had and they look nice.

Sounds great - not obnoxious! Paired this with Invidia's HFC.
