Used OEM Nissan Rear Crankshaft Timing Sprocket Washer for all '90+ Nissan 300zx models.
Located just in behind of the Timing Sprocket, sandwiched between the sprocket and the oil pump, the Rear Crankshaft Timing Sprocket Washer acts as a timing belt guide. A seemingly meaningless washer, the rear timing sprocket washer is one of two washers that prevents the timing belt from shifting on the timing sprocket, possible causing catastrophic engine damage.
This washer can be easily forgotten when reassembling an engine or during a "60K" or "120K" engine service.
