The Z1 300ZX Aluminum Undershroud replaces your Z32's missing or worn undershroud with a rigid aluminum panel. This increases front fascia rigidity and improves airflow for better engine cooling and high-speed stability!
Your Z's stock undershroud was designed primarily to protect sensitive underbody components from weather and small road debris, unfortunately, these plastic panels are not very strong and are susceptible to damage. Additionally, as the engine, steering rack, and other components leak, the original panels tend to sag. The Z1 aluminum undershroud provides far more protection than stock by providing more rigidity and durability than soft plastic undershrouds. The vents on the front and rear panel provide additional benefits, by allowing hot air moving through the high-pressure zone above the panel to be vented out, improving cooling efficiency.
Available separately or in a set, the front panel was engineered to fit with all OE front bumpers, including the '99 J-Spec AND US-Spec! Using the product options you can choose to purchase just the front or rear panel, or buy them both at a discounted price! Both panels include all installation hardware.
