The Z1 Motorsports Aluminum Undershroud for the AWD Infiniti Q50 Sedan was developed to replace your stock or missing undershroud with a rigid, aluminum panel. Thus, increasing front fascia rigidity, improving air flow, and making oil changes easier!
The stock undershroud on your Q50, was designed primarily to protect sensitive, underbody components from weather and small road debris. Unfortunately, these plastic panels are not very strong and are susceptible to damage. The Z1 aluminum undershroud provides far more protection than stock by providing more rigidity and durability than soft, plastic undershrouds. This is even more important on 3.0t models, where Nissan opted to use a fragile plastic oil pan.
The Z1 undershroud does away with the flimsy plastic clips that hold the center section to the crossmember. Instead, we elected to use rivnuts and threaded hardware to better secure your undershroud! The best part, is that you don't need to purchase a rivnut tool to install your undershroud, we've included one with the hardware at no extra cost!
Removable Service Panel
In order to service your car the undershroud must be removed. The Z1 Undershroud has a removable service panel, considerably larger than other similar undershrouds providing you with easy access and plenty of room to spare!
The removable service panel features large vented louvers, helping improve air flow on both sides of the panel and evacuating lousy heat.

Installation note: While this undershroud was designed specifically for use with the 3.0t VR30 engine it will still fit earlier 2014-2015 3.7L and 3.5L Hybrid models, however, because the oil drain plug location on the 3.5L and 3.7L engine is slightly different it may miss the service door during oil changes.
Additionally, these undershrouds are not designed to fit with Hotchkis Billet Sway Bar Brackets. If you wish to use those brackets and this undershroud, you will need to drill a clearance hole for the zerk (grease) fittings on the bracket.
