Kit includes:

Machined from 6061 Aluminum, the Z1 Motorsports 350Z/G35 Lightweight Crank Pulley is a great, economical weight to free up some extra horsepower from you VQ35DE power plant.  Designed to take the abuse of the track and the street, the Z1 Motorsports Lightweight Crank Pulley address many of the issues that plague other crank pulley's on the market.

Such items that have been specifically targeted and corrected over other....similar....aluminum crank pulley's on the market:

  • Designed to meet SAE specifications regarding the overall machining of the Belt Grooves. 
  • Weight Reduction: 2.00 lbs vs. 6.25 lbs stock.
  • Designed NOT to crack or fail - Many Aftermarket Aluminum VQ pulleys crack or can fail around the pulley face as a direct result of the extreme measures manufacturers take to save weight.
  • Large, easy to read machined Timing Marks
  • Increased belt shoulder height - To help prevent belts from jumping or misalignment.
  • 0% Underdriven to prevent any issues with the factory Air Conditioning, Alternator or Power Steering.

I got my 350z 100% stock and I’ve done tons of mods too it and I mean a lot of them and I easily say this light weight crank pulley makes a big difference it’s like putting the cold air intake paired with the kinetix v+ plenum and a catback exhaust and you’ll still feel more from this single part I’ve notice that light weight flywheels and these light weight pulleys always make a big difference definitely and it’s runs better with A/C get ready to re learn how to shift same effect as adding a lighter flywheel

Revs a little more freely, install was a pita due to the crank bolt but i just used the end of a jack handle and there ya go.

Works perfect, only hard part is getting the crank off. I just cut and wrapped my old belt around the crank/ other pulleys and used a breaker bar. No issues after

I actually purchased and had this kit installed awhile back, but forgot to write a review. Honestly, I didn't notice much difference under normal driving without using the HVAC but... Once I turned the AC on... That's when the lightweight pulley truly showed it's worth. Throttle response is much snappier now, and the strain from running the AC isn't as noticable. That was a big complaint for me, thankfully not so much now. I had to replace my alternator and decided doing new belts would be smart, then came across this kit. Very glad I did!

Butt dyno felt a difference, took a bit to install nothing crazy though. ended up using a long breaker bar and rested it on a solid metal on the right toward the intake, pulled the fuel pump fuse and gave it a very quick crank just bumping it and it worked like a charm, I tried every other method with a breaker bar from straps to in gear (manual) with the brakes held. unless you want to drain and pull the radiator and front off to use an impact. do it at your own risk if your breaker bar isn't in a good spot you could break an ac line or worse

This is a great kit which was easy to install, aside from getting the crank pulley nut a loose everything else was a breeze. The throttle response feels a bit snappier and when I use my A/C it doesn't feel like as much of a load on the engine as it was once before.
