If you're looking to increase the performance of your Z or G and improve acceleration through means other than horsepower, a higher final drive gear is the easiest way to achieve your goal!
By far the most noticeable increase in acceleration and response comes from simply re-gearing the differential in your car. By changing the input and output ratio on the ring and pinion, the car is able to accelerate quicker through each gear. The Z1 4.09 Final Drive is a drop-in replacement for the factory ring and pinion, is compatible with all rear-wheel drive manual transmission differentials, and is available at a fraction of the cost of OEM gear sets.
Replacement bearings are required to install a new final drive in your differential. Through the product options, you can select to purchase all the required bearings and seals needed to re-gear your differential.

It is highly recommended that an experienced mechanic install this ring and pinion gear set as excessive noise or even catastrophic failure can result from improper installation.
