This O-Ring is a direct replacement for the oil tree side of the sandwich plate used in the Z1 full flow oil cooler kits.

This O-Ring fits all Mocal model sandwich plates for Z32, 350Z, G35, 370Z, and G37 applications both thermostatic and non-thermostatic.

Embedded up not needing this, the cooler was leaking substantially when I bought it. Realizing it has just been loosenrd up from previous oil changes I clean the O ring and tightened it back up no problems since. I don't think I ordered the correct part to me honest.

Gets the job done replacing an old leaky sandwich plate gasket. Mocal can make a good thermostat, but not a durable o-ring; replacing these from time to time becomes a part of the routine.

If you have this set up, make sure to replace the ring when you have a leak

Sandwich plate Oring leaks after a while, the tension of the oil filter is what clamps it, not the tension of the sandwich plate filter post.. I’m on my 3rd oring after 50k kms of use, obviously continued filter changes disturbs the oring too much.
