The Z1 Solid Transmission Mount is a direct replacement solution to the soft OEM Transmission Mount found on the Infiniti Q50 Sedan and Q60 Coupe. The stiffer transmission mount comes from solid aluminum bushings installed in the center of the mount body. It is very similar in design to our Urethane Transmission Mount, however, the urethane bushings have been exchanged for solid aluminum to further prevent transmission movement during spirited drives. By increasing the stiffness of the transmission mount, there is less transmission movement under both acceleration and deceleration. This translates to more of the engine's torque being delivered to the rear tires and NOT being absorbed into transmission movement. The body of the mount is machined from 6061 billet aluminum and finished with a black anodized coating to ensure that it looks as great as it performs.

Please be aware that the use of solid mounts and bushings will increase NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness). If your car is used exclusively for street driving and comfort is important, we recommend using our Urethane Transmission Mount.
