Z1 Differential Bushings replace your Q50 or Q60's failure-prone factory bushings with a performance-oriented solution. This reduces differential movement and improves torque transfer, resulting in enhanced performance and durability under all driving conditions.
To replace the large bushing in the subframe, Z1 engineers developed a completely new solution inspired by our rear differential bushings for Nissan Z cars. Because the design of the subframe requires the removal of the factory subframe sleeve, a new two-piece sleeve was machined from 6061 billet aluminum. Once the original sleeve is removed, the new billet sleeve is installed in the subframe. The urethane bushing is housed inside of the billet sleeve and a steel sleeve is pressed inside the center of the bushing to lock it in place. In the front mount ears of the differential, the factory bushings are pressed out and replaced with urethane bushings. These bushings limit differential twist under load, reducing wheel hop and improving power delivery. To offer the best comfort without compromising performance, Z1 differential bushings are made from an 80a durometer polyurethane.
