Product Description

Increase oil capacity 1 Liter with this machined aluminum VQ35HR / VQ37VHR oil pan spacer during your next oil change, it's a great way to help increase oil life and the life of your engine.

Along with the machined aluminum oil pan spacer and high quality 8.8 grade flange bolt hardware throughout; each kit comes with an o-ring sealed oil pick up spacer (no more worries about your oil pump drawing in excess silicone and causing potential engine damage).

The oil return ports are tapped for 3/8" NPT fittings. We include plugs for the ports to allow you to choose the proper fittings for your application.

This oil pan spacer fits the following models:

  • 2007-2008 Nissan 350Z
  • 2007-2013 Infiniti G35 / G37 Sedan
  • 2008-2013 Infiniti G37 Coupe
  • 2009-2020 Nissan 370Z

The oil pan spacer works as intended but if you’re planning on using the turbo oil drain plug on the passenger side it’s covered by an oil feed line that comes off of the oil filter housing which makes it inaccessible.

If i could upload a picture of this i would. I bought this to replace my sandwhich plate for aem oil pressure and oil temp sensors. 1. "Temp sensor npt fitting that was drilled out is not accessible. The coolant hose sitting near the oil filter house blocks it entirely. 2. Do not think this is a 1hr job. You have to remove multiple parts just to get to the corner screw due to the gapping between the spacer anf the mounting bracket for your undershroud. 3. Do not plan on installing a medium to large sensor on the passenger side 3/8 drilled out hole. It too is too close to the hose to fit a medium sized fitting without rubbing. Thank you for my ted talk

Great quality spacer. However, I do not recommend for ‘14-‘15 AWD Q50. Subframe keeps from being able to install rear driver side extended oil pan bolt. However, a great excuse to order their baffled oil pan.

Great quality kit that provides some extra piece of mind when it comes to oil starvation. I have about 3 years and 10000 miles on mine now. No issues whatsoever. My car is not lowered so I can’t speak to how this kit works when lowered, but I haven’t had any clearance issues and I’m never worried about it.

Great item at an excellent price. One point to bear in mind - the extended bolts supplied to fit the pickup pipe spacer are not long enough, as they seriously reduce the number of threads gripping the oil pump. I purchased higher tensile, longer (45 mm) flange bolts and restored the thread count. 👍

Easy straightforward install, high quality machining on the parts, everything you need included in the package. The extra oil capacity and the extra surface area of the spacer with the machined fins definitely helps with keeping oil temps under control. I'm running this spacer on a 2010 370Z Nismo (*without an oil cooler*) and I have noticed my oil temps are consistently 10-12⁰ cooler than they were before the spacer. I also have the ZSpeed V1 Nismo undershroud which has a duct to direct airflow straight towards the oil pan which is also likely helping this part work even better. But this part definitely WORKS!

I installed my Z1 oil pan spacer along with a new Nismo oil filter for my Nissan 2015 370Z Z34 Sports the other day and dame it not only looks really good but the extra oil my engine has makes it run smoother and a bit less hotter if that makes sense. I would definitely recommend getting this product as it's of high quality material with very little weight added to the car. Once you crack off the seal it's very easy to install, I'm very happy with another one of my performance parts from Z1 Motorsports making my 370Z Z34 Sports even better. Get this part people it's worth the $$ spent and if I could I would include a photo of before and after.

Greatest piece off design , reason being it fitted perfectly . Not only that it carried an extra one litre off oil , which gives me a piece off mind . Found that the cooling off the engine was quite noticeable . So as you be aware they have an tendency to run on the hot side.

Installation was straight forward I made two guide pins out of long bolts I got at Home Depot. just cut off the heads, to keep the pan and spacer together when installed to engine worked great. The extra quart of oil will definitely be beneficial to my VQHR with 160,000 mi. Could not believe how clean the pan and oil pick up was, when I removed pan. I only used Mobil 1 0w 40 since I purchased my 2007 roadster with 24,000 mi. Still runs like new.

Speaks for itself. Will work on an awd if you are willing to notch a section of subframe out. Just enough to snake items in and the bolt it would otherwise cover. Then weld a flat bar to cover the open space and paint over. Did this with two cars.

I have a 2009 370z and it suffered from oil temps going to hot, then I decided to install a Z1 oil cooler kit and the Z1 oil pan spacer and now the temperatures stay nice and cool even when I’m pushing my car to it’s limits. This oil pan spacer and the oil cooler allow my car to run 7 QUARTS OF OIL! Impressive! I highly recommend this!

Great oil pan spacer. Fantastic design and adds an additional 1.2 quarts of oil. Keeps the oil temps down below the threshold of losing power. ***G37/Q60 owners*** When putting the oil pan back on be sure to start with the driver side rear pan bolt FIRST, otherwise you will have to reclean the mating surfaces!!!
