    3.5 - 4 Though they do perform well, I was hoping they would have been faster at opening the rear hatch. It moves at about the same speed as my old ones that were starting to fail. It doesn't opening fully on its own. I have to push it up the last few inches to be fully open. Overall they do work

    10/10. A simple 10-minute upgrade which will benefit every Xterra. They fit perfectly and have held up strong over the four months since install. I would recommend you have another person with you to hold up the trunk, otherwise it's a bit tricky.

    Was a nice touch up over my 10 year old struts. Used to have to push the hatch open and hold it, now I can have some peace of mind when opening the rear hatch on my Xterra.

    Now i don't hit my head on the rear hatch of my xterra. Lifts the hatch maybe 2 to 3 inchs higher than stock.

    Z1's rear hatch struts are beefier than the OEM. Since my Xterra is about 9/10 years old, the rear hatch struts failed! They didn't want to open all the way up. These did the trick. I recommend them.

    Lift gate didn’t like to open on its own anymore or stay at maximum height and I am lazy and tall... Popped the old clips off to remove the old struts and snapped these on. Done before my kid could even ask me too many questions about why he’s holding the gate up with a broom and now lift gate operation is like new! Fast shipping too!
