DTC-70 Compound - Extremely high torque with aggressive controllable initial bite. Superior release and torque control characteristics. Brake pads designed for cars with high deceleration rates with or without down force. Excellent release and modulation characteristics with a controllable high torque and smooth initial bite. These pads offer unbeatable pad and rotor wear when compared to similar compounds.
Note: Hawk Performance burnishes its High Performance Street brake pads as a final step in the factory, but all brake pads have to be bedded-in with the rotors (new or used) that they will be used against. Properly bedding-in new brake pads results in a transfer film being generated at the pad and rotor interface to maximize brake performance.
Don't forget about rotors and fluid! Z1 also offers a full line of high performance rotors and high temperature brake fluids intended to work in conjunction with aggressive brake pads!
