Strut head twists off and comes off the mounting point. The hood struts one came so over pressured I could have bent my hood trying to close it.

These work and hold the trunk up good, but on my Q50 they lowkey feel too strong. The trunk don’t pop up on its own like I thought it would, and I gotta push pretty hard / kinda slam it to get it closed. So they do work, just not as smooth or OEM feeling as I expected.

Don't waste your time or money trying to buy any other non OEM strut. I was on the struggle bus trying to get some Amazon cheap struts to fit, saw a YouTube video where the creator just popped these on with ease. Bought these and had the same exact experience, direct fit to OEM, no struggle required. 100% buy with confidence

Was not happy at all with this product. They are very flimsy and make a noise. Also the bottom end by the shaft or loose and make a clunking sound trunk is closed.

A must upgrade vs OEM doesnt last long. My car was brand new and I replaced it with Z1 much better and smoother stronger. Won't slam shut on your, especially with a carbon fiber hood you must get these.

Mostly good, however these aren't as durable as the originals. I'm observing that these tend to bend and nearly break at the socket ends. Other than that, the force they provide is more than enough and they are smooth and quiet to operate.

Measurements are correct compared to oem, but they are slightly more stiff to close. You won't have to worry about it slamming shut
