Z1 Performance Packages are carefully crafted vehicle-specific packages designed to elevate your 370Z's performance. These packages are intended to provide more than just an increase in horsepower, focussing on other areas like cooling, suspension, alignment, and more. The intent is to retain great street manners and reliability while offering a balanced and thrilling driving experience that can only come from a purpose-built car. This package was pieced together using decades of experience building and tuning Nissan sports cars with countless miles on the race track and the street.
The Level 2 Performance Package builds on our Level 1 package, including core products needed to expand the potential of the 370Z. The focus of this package is to elevate your car to a point where it can be better enjoyed on a Sunday mountain drive or beginner track day. In this package, we take it a step further by focusing on the suspension system as a whole including coilovers, adjustable arms, and sway bars. Adjustable shock damping and alignment allow you to set the suspension how you like it, making for a more engaging experience and building driver confidence. Like our Level 1 Package, we also include the intake and exhaust system but also add a ported upper plenum to help expand power to the top of the rev range, where your VQ was meant to be driven. An oil cooler kit is added to help maintain lower oil temperatures, allowing you to run your car harder for longer without worrying about critical fluid temperatures.
Level 2 Contents
As we mentioned above the Level 2 Package is a much more involved than our Level 1 package, but the focus on improving power, response, handling, and driver confidence remains the same.
- Z1 Cold Air Intake Kit - An easy-to-install modification that improves airflow to the engine, resulting in an increase of power and torque throughout the power band. Customize this kit further by choosing between four different piping finishes and three silicone coupler colors.
- Z1 Intake Plenum Power Mod - A ported upper intake plenum improves airflow, helping to increase peak power while also improving shifting the power band up where it belongs.
- Z1 Exhaust System - A performance exhaust system is essential for producing good, consistent horsepower. Choose between two different exhaust styles based on the sound you like.
- Z1 Touring Exhaust (Optional) - An excellent option if you want to make power without making a lot of noise. This exhaust is perfect for daily drivers and track cars where regulations limit sound output.
- Z1 Single Exit Exhaust (Optional) - A great option for those wanting the most sound and the lowest weight. Available in right side and left side bumper exits.
- Z1 Performance Y-Pipe - Choose between two of Z1's most popular performance y-pipes.
- Z1 Standard Y-Pipe - A budget-friendly option that uses a fabricated merge collector with slip-fit piping, making installation easy.
- Z1 Modular Y-Pipe - A premium option, featuring a cast stainless steel merge collector and flanges, making it the nicest y-pipe we offer. Available with or without a resonator.
- Z1 Sway Bar Set - Two-way adjustable sway bars help reduce body roll, making your car feel more firm and planted through corners. Includes billet sway bar brackets and urethane mount bushings.
- Z1 Adjustable Sway Bar End Links (Front / Rear) - Adjustable end links allow you to reindex the sway bar when lowering your car, and ensure the bar is set in a neutral position with no pre-load.
- Z1 Adjustable Coilovers - Coilovers give you the ability to set the ride height where you like it, whether for street or track. 32-way adjustable compression/rebound damping lets you set the shock to a variety of situations with ease.
- Z1 S-Pro Coilovers (Optional) - Z1's entry-level coilovers, offering 32-way damping adjustment with rates and valving optimized for street performance.
- Z1 R-Pro Coilovers (Optional) - Z1's track-focused coilovers, produced by the suspension gurus at Feal. These coilovers come standard with Swift Springs, and are valved exclusively for use with softer compound performance tires. The R-Pro's offer comfort and performance, making it a great option for high-performance street and track.
- Z1 Adjustable Suspension Arms - Correct your alignment when lowering or set your alignment to custom specs with fully adjustable suspension arms. Available in two versions; STREET uses standard bushings ends for comfort and compliance while RACE uses solid heim joints for the least flex and best feedback.
- Z1 EcuTek Performance ECU Tune - A feature-rich ECU tune calibrated specifically for the modifications included in this package, ensuring optimal performance under any conditions. Includes tune maps for multiple fuel types including 87, 91, and 93 octane fuels.
- Z1 Oil Cooler Kit - A requirement for keeping your 370Z cool on the street and track, the Z1 Oil Cooler Kit provides more cooling capacity than you'll ever need on a naturally aspirated VQ. To ensure your car is capable of the performance promised by this package, there are no options with this package. By default, we have chosen to include this kit with a 34-row Pro Cooler core, thermostatic sandwich plate, and protective hose wrapping.
